Q. Does the skylight cover block the light?
A. There is minimal loss as the gloss white finish reflects light back into the skylight.

Q. Are they heavy? Will they damage my roof?
A. On average the skylight covers only weight between 15-30 lbs and sit directly on the framing of your skylight.

Q. Will they need repainting?
A. We use a durable powder coat, but in 3 years of harsh sun and monsoon weather, we've noticed some discoloration on close inspection, so like anything exposed to the elements, they may eventually need a touch-up. This can be done easily with a Rustoleum spray paint directly over the powder.

Q. What is powder coat?
A. Positive charged particles sprayed onto a negative charged substrate and baked over time to 400 degrees Fahrenheit which bonds the material together. Its a very strong finish.

Q. How do you mount the skylight covers without drilling any holes?
A. We use a cinch bolt mount and never drill a hole or use self tapping screws.

A. Lifetime warranty on steel and welded joints.
