Q. Does the skylight cover block the light?
A. There is minimal loss as the gloss white finish reflects light back into the skylight.
Q. Are they heavy? Will they damage my roof?
A. On average the skylight covers only weight between 15-30 lbs and sit directly on the framing of your skylight.
Q. Will they need repainting?
A. We use a durable powder coat, better than any automotive finish and never needs repainting but may lose some gloss in the Arizona sun.
Q. What is powder coat?
A. Positive charged particles sprayed onto a negative charged substrate and baked over time to 400 degrees Fahrenheit which bonds the material together.
Q. How do you mount the skylight covers without drilling any holes?
A. We use a cinch bolt mount and never drill a hole or use self tapping screws.
Q. Do you warranty your skylight covers?
A. Lifetime warranty on workmanship. 5 years warranty on gloss due to the harsh Arizona sun.
